The subject of the public procurement contract is the execution of a study on the environmental impact on fish and fisheries for the Latvian site of the ELWIND wind park project.
The study shall include:
- A theoretical study, summarizing existing environmental data on the study area and its surroundings;
- A field research, including seasonal fish community surveys, as well as spawning and juvenile surveys;
- An impact assessment, aimed at evaluating the potential effects of the project on fish communities and fisheries, identifying adverse impacts, and proposing measures to mitigate these effects.
The results of the study will be used in future phases of the ELWIND project. The contractor will be required to present the study and prepare reports for the ELWIND project’s EIA process as an expert, in order to provide explanations to the parties involved regarding the impact of the project on the research object, mitigation measures, and other issues.
The deadline for submission of the tender is 17 July 2025 at 11.00 (EET).
