Metocean in-situ measurement campaign must be done by a single provider for the two offshore wind park sites of the ELWIND project:
- In-situ measurement campaign for the Estonian offshore wind park;
- In-situ measurement campaign for the Latvian offshore wind park.
The measurement campaign is aimed at providing accurate and validated data on the metocean (meteorological and oceanographic) conditions for the respective offshore wind park sites of the ELWIND project.
The data on the meteorological and oceanographic conditions, which is to be obtained by means of the measurement campaign, will serve as the primary input for the Wind Resource Assessment and can furthermore be used as input by companies submitting bids to develop the wind farm. The obtained metocean data can be used for further analysis to improve the (preliminary) design of the wind farms, the installation and maintenance of wind turbines, inter array cables, substations and their support structures.
The submission deadline for the tenders is 6th of May 2025, 10.00 (EET)
