The objective of Pre-FEED is to prepare an overall technical concept that defines the full scope of the planned ELWIND offshore wind farm and to define the next steps; meanwhile the objective of FEED is to wrap up the results from the complete grid connection feasibility, EIA, site data studies and Pre-FEED, taking all the information gathered from finalised studies.
Within the framework of the study:
· The Pre-FEED desktop study is conducted using publicly available information and delivers an updated technical base case for the project, including site conditions and electrical grid connection options. These results will serve as input for further project development.
· FEED provides a summary of all deliverables obtained to date (covering grid, EIA, site data, and technical aspects), identifies any necessary changes, and includes an outlook on additional studies required for continued project development.
The Pre-FEED phase is scheduled to be completed within 4 months, followed by the start of FEED development 1 month later. The total contract duration is 36 months.
